Canvas recently added two enhancements to New Quizzes:

1. Easier Navigation
   
   You’ll now see the Canvas Course Menu on the left and breadcrumb links above when working in New Quizzes. That means you can move in and out of a quiz more easily, without hunting for the Return button. 
   
   
   
2. New “Text Block” Item – Add Helpful Context Without a Question
   
   Need to add instructions, background information, a reminder, or other context between quiz questions? The new Text Block lets you include standalone content directly in your quiz. It’s not tied to a question, just there to guide students.
   
   Bonus: If you're migrating from Classic Quizzes, Text Blocks will carry over automatically.
