Adobe Creative Cloud on your desktop

Adobe Creative Cloud is a subscription-based collection of software applications and cloud services. It provides access to over 20 powerful desktop and mobile applications for creative work, including photo editing, video production, design tools, and document creation.

The apps are downloaded and installed locally on your computer (or device), and you use them as long as your subscription is active.

Creative Cloud also includes cloud-based services: file storage/syncing, collaboration features, font libraries, and access to shared resources.

All faculty at Yavapai College can request Adobe Creative Cloud access. Since Yavapai College has a limited number of subscriptions, adjunct faculty access will be on a case-by-case basis.  Request your Adobe Creative Cloud access and get your account set up.

Don't want to install the Creative Cloud software on your computer? You can still use Adobe Creative Cloud (and 250+ other programs) from home or on the go. YC’s VMware SecureCloud lets you log in to a full virtual desktop — just like working in a campus computer lab. Your creative tools, anywhere, anytime!

To use VMware SecureCloud:

  • Download and install the VMware Horizon Client for your system.
  • Launch the app and connect to securecloud.yc.edu.
  • Log in with your YC network username and password, then approve the DUO prompt.

Once connected, select “Lab Computer” or open Adobe apps directly from the menu. Always save your work to your Z: Drive or OneDrive.
